Babson College. Campbell also

Geospatial Consortium.

Tim Braithwaite acts

Packing Systems. An employee-
owned ESOP company, 50-year
old Automated Packaging is
headquartered in Streetsboro,
Ohio, and now has a sales, ser-
vice, and distribution network
throughout North America,
Europe, Latin America, Asia and
Australia, with more than 30,000
packaging systems in operation
worldwide. The company estimates that its nine manufacturing
plants produce more bags-on-a-roll and bagging systems than all
of its competitors combined.
Braithwaite holds a Bachelor’s
degree in electrical and electronics engineering from West
Virginia University.
Himanshu Parikh

Himanshu Parikh is
responsible for man-
ufacturing opera-
tions focusing on tis-
sue diagnostics and
sequencing at Ventana Medical
Systems, part of the global
Roche Group. He is a certified
Six Sigma Black Belt and has
been instrumental in the compa-
ny’s Smart Systems initiative,
which provides intuitive, integrat-
ed staining and workflow man-
agement platforms that optimize
laboratory efficiencies to reduce
errors. With over 20 years experi-
ence in the biomedical industry,
his previous roles include
Director of Operations at BD
BioSciences, Director of
Operations at PerkinElmer LAS,
and Manufacturing Manager at
Digene Corporation. He holds a
Master’s degree in management
from the University of
Maryland, and a Ph.D. in micro-
biology from the Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Baroda
in India. In 2014 he won a
Manufacturing Excellence Award
from the Association of
Manufacturing Excellence.
